A Le Corbusier LC4 chaise longue for Cassina.
A classic example of 20th century design and one of the most iconic examples of furniture ever produced.
Originally dating to 1928 from the Bauhaus, this edition dates to the late 1970s, early 1980s.
An extremely scarce piece. Very few have ever been produced with a coloured frame.
Black leather upholstery and head rest, terracotta coloured tubular steel frame on a black steel base.
Engraved with the Le Corbusier signature and unique Cassina serial number. Also comes complete with its original Cassina card with matching serial number to the frame number. Very unsual to find such complete provenance and authentication.
A stunning piece and very seldom available for sale
Offered in excellent condition with lovely patina.
