An iconic example of British lighting design which originally began in 1930s Birmingham.
Decades ahead of their time we have William Churchill to thank for the lamp’s survival.
Poor initial sales led to the company nearly going under before Churchill was seen working late into the night using a Bestlite to see.
Here are vintage examples and they are a world away in terms of quality of construction and feel to the more modern examples since BTC’s take over of Bestlite.
